Weekend Reflections

Linking up with James for weekend reflections over at Newtown Area Photo

Last weekend I went out early on a cold morning and was lucky enough to find some amazing reflections.  Been waiting to share them here.

You only get "sea smoke" on the coldest of mornings when air and water temperature collide, creating a misty effect over the water.  Way cool...and way cold.  I think there was no way to take a poor shot....sea smoke is like magic, if you can stand the weather.

Here are some of the reflections I caught:

Jackie's Wharf

Reflections

Still Waters

Bridge and Building

Fish House at Water's Edge

Thanks for taking a trip in the cold morning air with me.  Happy weekend.

Jolie série ... clarté de l'air et luminosité de l'eau : tout pour bien réussir !

Who would think that in the middle of snow and gloomy sky, you can find such beautiful reflection. Thanks for sharing!

The first pic is my favorite because of the contrasts light and dark, sharp and blurry edges - wow! Of course your last pic is more picturesque:) guess you will enjoy your weekend taking more of these pics!

Really wonderful shots! I love the dreamy smokey shots and the crisp clear ones are filled with color, and clarity and make me want to be there. :)

Thanks for your visit.
Love your header shot by the way.

I'm a lot in love with that second photo - I'm going to say it again - your photos this week are out of this world.

What a lovely set of picture... My favourite is the third on : I like the way the myst on the surface of the water give to an actual house some spirit of an old haunted mansion...

Browsing through your blog, I'm so impressed with your photos, but especially your landscapes! They are so well composed, and whatever the theme is they just totally work. Landscapes are my Achilles heel, so I'll just keep studying them -- and you keep shooting them for us, m'kay?
