Macro at Simplicity

Connecting with Faith for this week's photo challenge where the theme is macro.

Just happened to be taking a little walk on the beach with my sweet Tula Dot the other morning when this caught my eye:

Sandollar Blur

Tula's eyes (and body and legs and spirit) were caught by something all together different.

Get that Ball!

Different strokes for different folks....human and K-9.

Love what attracted both of you.
Since reading about macro on your site and others', I was inspired to investigate. My son and I went to a long-time in business photography shop here in Muncie. I went to see if I could trade in my camera. Instead I walked out with these terrific used items; Canon EOS Rebel, tripod, macro lens & bag big enough to hold both of my cameras. Soooo happy and excited!

I can't believe you saw a real Sandollar on the beach....how neat. I have a dried one my Mother gave me many years ago. That one looks awesome in the wet sand. Lucky you!

I'm in awe that you spotted a sand dollar. I didn't think they were common to find. and you know I always love those Tula shots, even her really cute butt. what makes that shot so special is that she's flying, only one paw is on the ground, if that. you must have so dang much fun with that doggie. great captures Susan, and have a beautiful weekend!
