Creative Weekend Reflections

Linking up with the famous James for this week's Weekend Reflections.  Thanks James, hope the packing is coming along.  Also linking with Lisa for The Creative Exchange where I like to add images taken with my heart more so than my head, and these qualify.  Thank you Lisa.

Last Friday evening I set out to grab a few shot before heading to the movies.  I never got to the movies, the light was magical that evening and there was just no stopping.  I totally made the right choice.  Some reflection shots from that beautiful night.

You can always catch a movie, but the light will never be the same. The buoy is my favorite, but not by much, the last shot is awesome.

I agree, Woody. These shots are so much better than any movie. Wise move, Susan!

sometimes you're in the right place at the right time - the light here is fantastic; don't think I would have been able to get away either.

You made a good choice - who can resist a fabulous sunset. Like a movie in itself. Just catching up on your photos - some terrific shots this week.

You're right, can't waste that wonderful light. The movie will still be there but who knows when you can catch that light again.

I'm so glad you chose not to waste this beautiful light.
Love the last one, especially.

Following your comment I tried the linky link again and it seems OK. But I'm having a lot of trouble with Blogger today, giving error messages. It seems to be having an off day.

You certainly did make the right choice, Susan — a photographer's choice. Wonderful, wonderful photos. The first looks like a place I'd love to live, and the way the light caught the harbor wall is fantastic!

Terrific collection of picture this week-end ! I can't find one I like best : everyone is so unique and so stunning... I like very much the buoy one : I just love how the neat reality of the objet is caught between two blury reflections on the water... Nice shot indeed.

I've been with my mom for a week and a half, nice to be back and looking at your photos again. Could it be that your reflections are better than our reflections? The clarity is amazing!
