Weekend Reflections

Linking with James for weekend reflections.

Love me those reflections.  Hope you do too.  Try them they're lots of fun.

Covered Bridge
Covered Bridge
Last week I had trouble finding reflections to share....can you believe I had this one and forgot about it?  This bridge is on a private estate not far from my humble little house.  I've photographed it before a time or two, but this time caught great reflections in the still water.

Evening Reflections
Evening Reflections
Tidal marsh view....there's just NO way a person who loves reflections could drive by this and not stomp on the brakes to get out and snap a few thousand shots.

Piano Reflection
Piano Reflection
I'd like to say that this is my well polished piano...nope.  But it did catch my eye for a quick photo op.

I love covered bridges and reflections and I say wow to both in the top picture. I love the compositon of the second and the angle of the third. You are so good at this!

This is James from Weekend Reflections. Blogger seems to be acting up again.

I marvel at your water reflections. whenever I've experimented and tried to capture them it's not a good result. not understanding this, I finally came to the conclusion - it's the LIGHT! I'm thinking that middle photo is definitely a two-thumbs up. I can hear that stillness.
the covered bridge in the thumbnail is what initially caught my eye. that's an extraordinary shot Susan. hope your ankle is healing and the hob is gone from your hobble...or whatever.
have a great weekend my friend.

Beautiful reflections, I love that covered bridge shot. Makes me miss CT, there used to be quite a few covered bridges there.

That covered bridge photo in particular is so perfect, I'm truly wondering why you're not taking photographs professionally. Your pictures should be on postcards, calendars, the cover of Yankee Magazine... but for now I'm glad they're on your blog! :-)

I love the clever piano shot, it took me by surprise after the two water photos! Your powers of observation have really been polished (pardon the pun!) by your photography. :-)

The covered bridge is a beautiful, the ambiance so still just waiting for
the dog to race through it and, perhaps, you at a slower pace. Hope the
ankle is healing - don't try to walk on it too soon!
