Weekend Reflections

Yay for Friday and time to link up with James at "Weekend Reflections".  Thank you James!!

Been busy, busy, busy....but better breeze by (too many b's already) for a quick reflection or two or three or four or more.

In the Barn Window
In the Barn Window
Love this old water tower...especially nice in good light.  Found it reflected in the nearby barn too.

Light Reflections
Light Reflections
'Tis the season.  Scurried out at 4:00 yesterday to catch the last 15 min of light before dusk.  As I headed back, I found these holiday lights reflected in the window of a sun porch....also caught the peaks of the houses across the street.

Old Car
Old Car
Selfie, house, and tree reflections in the spare tire cover of an old 1950's 88.

Old Boathouse
Old Boathouse
This used to be a ship building area, then restaurant was created, now deluxe condos.  Makes a nice water reflection though.

Thanks for checking out this week's images.  Have a great weekend....with lots of reflection opportunities.

I'm blown away by the water tower. I could imagine taking tons of photos of it at various times of the day and different seasons.

The Christmas lights look almost monochromatic with selective coloring - neat!!

What a terrific variety of reflections for the day, Susan! They are all different and fun! Love the water tower and the Christmas lights, and of course, the one of you!! And what a lovely old boathouse/condo! Love the reflections on the still, still water! Superb! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I adore that first shot! I've been remiss in commenting here as well. Just know that I visit often but don't always comment, as things have been busy! I appreciate your stopping by my blog-- and your comment the other day.

I remember those big cars in the 50s with their spare tire covers. Seems to me they called them "continental kits" for reasons I didn't understand at the time.
Your reflection photos are always gorgeous, Susan, and today is no exception.

Another week of shiny Susan reflections. That boathouse shot is simply wonderful-all those lovely white-trimmed windows reflected back on that mirror-like water and all those luscious browns and rusts. And your patented golden light on the water tower.

A stellar series of reflections, Susan, and it's always nice to see selfies. My favorite is the water tower image. It's like a vintage postcard. I especially like the contrast of the golden light on the tower next to the muted blue wood. The reflection just pops.

that water tower is a treasure, and to capture it as a reflection is a double gift. nice notice. the warm light on it is fantastic. Light Reflections is superb. just superb. I always love your selfies - you make them fun. and the treetops in that reflection are fine. when I scrolled down to see the last photo my jaws dropped. it's truly a striking, soaring photo. It instantly became my fave of the bunch, but in the final analysis, it's in a tie with Light Reflections. There's something very comforting about those lights strung along that porch rain gutter, with the fading sunset glow. have a great weekend Susan.
