Murals on Monday

Rural Mural
Rural Mural

It ain't always easy to find murals when you ain't livin' in a metropolitan area.  I found this little gem in a tiny fishing village.  Had to stomp on the brakes and get out an take a snap.
On the other side of that road you see in the foreground.....ocean.
I wonder how the sea enjoys seeing this view.

Linking with Oakland Daily Photo for today's Mural Monday.

Looks like a Warren Kimble piece. True Americana and folk art. Good eye, Susan and fabulous photo.

I love it when people are creative with that blank wall space! What a nice surprising find! Another reason to always have your camera ready!

Primitive art at its best. Love the idea that the ocean enjoys this painted view.

As long as the ocean admires it from a safe distance!

"Rural Mural" could be its own meme. You've done real well sussing out murals in your non-urban area. This indeed is a little gem, obviously done with heart and affection. Probably an accurate postcard for this fishing village. Glad no one was behind you when you slammed on the brakes. Thanks for participating in this week's Monday Mural.
