Project 52

project 52 p52 weekly photo challenge my3boybarians.com

Linking today with Project 52 where the topic this week is "hunger".

Sometimes I don't know what urges me to take photos, but I do try to listen to those nudges that hit me.  This photo is one of those.

Sign of Spring
Sign of Spring

Empty ice cream cup.  Trash.  Left behind by someone on a fence post.  Why I felt it necessary to take a shot of trash?  That's the part I don't get.  But I like the result.
Oh well, someone was hungry when they purchased this.

Thanks for checking out my crazy shot.

Imagination is the fuel of photographers and you have an abundance of it, Susan! I love that you are always willing to shoot whatever strikes you...always interesting!

It works! One of my favorite pictures was taken of a cigarette butt in a sidewalk crack. You just never know what will call to you.

I know just what you mean Susan, but I also know that if it gets my attention, there is something there, at least for me, and that is one of the many wonderful things I love about photography. Love this shot!

Happy Sunday to you!
xo.

Les glaces d'Annabelle doivent être excellentes... Cependant, oui, le ou la gourmande aurait dû penser à mettre sa coupelle à la poubelle...
Votre photo me donne une envie de crème glacée...
Gros bisous

It's a great composition and I really like the photo. The fact that someone left their trash behind does bother me.

I'm not sure it always matters about the "why?" Sometimes an image just speaks to you - and this is a great "sign of spring". Love the way the cup glows with a golden light and that beautiful brick bokeh in the background (how's that for alliteration!)

I think you have a great eye for noticing interesting stuff. This shot is interesting- the angle of the ice cream cup, the light & shadows, the blurry buildings in the background. Nicely done.

Hi Susan,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. This shot gives me an idea for a photo-a-day challenge I'm doing with my iPhone. In a few days the theme is "trash".

I really like the composition of this and how you pulled back enough to give context to the shot. Nice job!

Woof!
I bark at people who throw trash around, Susan! and Keeper barks the loudest.

Woof, I see Tula in last post!
Oh, why do you have to be in the picture...oh...woof...you are the picture, and Tula got in instead. Hooray for smart dogs!

So did you get yer sleep?

Hi Susan. The other day I took a photo of my coffee cup from Dunkin Donuts, and I really like how sharp and clear it came out. Don't know why I took the photo...BUT I did throw my cup in the trash when I was finished!!
