Neat, the colors are delicious!

I'd be inclined to experiment with zooming or cropping and see what a touch of fill light might do on the curls (I've been watching too many photographic critiques in the last week, please forgive me)

Susan - oh, I love this! Those delicate curls, silhouetted against the setting sun. It's as if they are beautiful ink drawings against that colorful sky. And I think I see a plane contrail hiding out there in the background - as another surprise within your image for us to savor. I know how you love photographing grasses - this has to rank up there with one of your very best.

Wow, love those whatever-they-are, and love your photo. The silhouettes are great and that little pop of color at the horizon is lovely. I wish I had a bunch of those to put in a vase!
