Weekend Reflections

Linking with Sir James for this week's Weekend Reflections.

Still working with a lot of gray and wet weather.  I think it's finally breaking which should help both my sanity and my photographing opportunities.  Having to tiptoe between the raindrops is tough duty.

Doesn't this look like clearing to you?

My friend's little dog Myles.  Jus' sayin'....he's an imp.  Cute though.

Here's an oldie from early April that I just processed.  Wonder if these Canadian geese are still around or they were heading back north.

You know you have reflection "issues" when you're taking selfies on grave markers in the cemetery.

That's about it for reflections from gray and rainy Maine.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Wonderful shots ..... it's been grey here too (CT) and I just haven't been taking shots like I'd like to .... the sun is coming out today! :-D

Love your reflections for the day! The first shot is really terrific! Great composition! And since my skies have and do look like yours, I do hope we both see some clearing soon!!!

Excellent reflections, Susan. My favorite is that first one. And, yes, it does look like clearing to me. Hope that trend continues for you.

That last one is funny. I've done stranger things. :)

What a beautiful dog, and that last shot has just the right touch of color.

Great shots, excellent reflections and a very cute dog!

PS. I didn't invert my reflection. Look at the wooden restaurant sign then look at the writing above the reflected mural. It says "Our Lady of Refuse" Backwards because it's reflected. :0)

Hi Susan. I realy like the angle of your first shot. The sky is really eye catching...it wouldn't be if there weren't any clouds! And the reflections and subject are great. I really like the feeling of it.

ooh I love them all! the drama in the skies and glassy beach sand in first shot are fab, fab, fab. and yes, that looks to be a clearing sky to me.
Myles is adorable, that face is unforgettable. I love the grace you captured in Take Off. The last shot is my fave, the kiss of red and the grainy reflection are perfection. nicely composed, and I'm loving the light behind you. happy weekend my friend.

Usually I find a standout or two in your collections, but this time I love every one of the photos and can't choose a favorite. Even Myles in all his impish, reflected adorableness can't beat "Take Off," those skies, waters, beach and geranium/self portrait in the headstone! Very creative and beautifully done, as usual! At least your grey skies and rainy weather aren't interfering with your reflections!

Have a great weekend, Sue!

Love the first one and the last!
The first one has a lovely atmosphere to it and the last is just so unique.

great atmosphere in the first photo - we seem to have had solid rain for about 72 hours - I want a bit of summer back.

Regardless of gray skies, you always delight with your reflection shots. And yes, your name is Susan and you are a Reflection Junkie - obvious from that gravestone selfie. Hope you get some sunshine and downtime this weekend.

Great reflections! I never would have guessed that last reflection was on a gravestone!
