This past week brought warmer weather which equals a smile on my face, saving on oil and snowplowing, and finally an ice free driveway. Psyche! Still working on the clean roads and clean car, but I'll take what I can get. It also brought a variety of weather which was a plus for my photo taking endeavors.
ATM Splashdown
Melting off the roof of the ATM drive thru
Ten at Low Tide
Pilings down at the empty harbor
Abyss BW
Disappearing empty road
Under Trees 132/365
Headed for a walk on the beach
Please note, there's still plenty of dirty white stuff around lest you think I'm getting off easy.
Happy day to you from Maine. We'll see what this week brings.

oh i just love your photos! :) the last one is so interesting looking with the bare trees! and love the glistening light on the road :D in the top one! :D
And the dock pilings LOL Love !!!
Love the low tide shot. The snow is pretty too, even if melting a bit!
Lovely shot. I love the one with the horse and trees. Gorgeous!
We have had a bit of a thaw here too, but this morning it is icy. That last shot would be a dream come true for me!
Mornin' Susan, wishing you a wonderful Maine day; slow and easy, the way life should be. :)
I thought, for a moment, that those pilings were some Cuban cigars you snuck back into the country. Just kiddin! Great shots, all of them.
Oh that last shot is plain dreamy! Glad you got a small break in the snow. Happy week to you.
That is a horse, isn't it? I love the timeless quality of that shot and the way the snow frames the road. Enjoy your January thaw -- we are having a real cold snap here and I'm afraid it will be heading you way soon.
The weather sure has been wacky! Love the motion in picture 1! Very cool! Thanks for linking up - you're 2 for 2!
All our snow has melted here in Ohio - I must say, I kind of miss it but it was getting dirty and slushy so I suppose a clean sweep is the best thing at this point.
Great images of all different kinds of Maine "wetness". My favorite is "Abyss BW" with the disapperance of the road and telephone poles - very moody and atmospheric.
Love your disappearing road-stunning photo.
like the starkness of the disappearing road, but love the walk on the beach, may be the presence of the beautiful horse
Great pics Susan, love the Ten at low tide. We had such a gorgeous day on Saturday (temps so high we could wear a t-shirt outside). Now today temps are below freezing and each time I take the dogs out for a pee I feel like I'm freezing my bits off. :0)
YOWZA!!!!! That "Abyss BW" is downright fantastic! I'd frame that baby!
hi, I just saw you at Tamar's blog linking-do and decided to say your photos are flippin' amazing. wow.
I can only wish for warmer temperatures right now! Today was a balmy -30C and we are running out of room to put the snow! Great pictures though!
Amazing captures, Susan. My favorite is the one with the pilings on the water. Yeah, weather extremes - that's what it's about this year it seems.
Such a great fog shot. It can be tricky to catch. Great effect.
Wonderful shots! I especially like #2 and #4. Awesome!
Wonderful images! I just love the titles of your photos, I wish I had that talent!!
