Speedy Scavenger

Linking with Ashley Sisk for this week's Scavenger Hunt Sunday.  Scavenge on.

Quick post.  Working today AGAIN!  Grrrrrrr.  Part way through a 19 day stretch with NO days off.  On day #20 there better be nobody that calls me last minute to see a house.  Nobody; well unless they're going to do a cash transaction with no inspections and a closing within two weeks.  That would be worth making it a 20 day stretch.

Low Tide BW

Background:  Little row boat way off in the background.  The tide was so low here, the left edge of the dock is on the flats.  You can see the high tide mark along the rocks-that's when that gangplank is much safer to walk down.

Spots or Dots:  Have to give a shout to Joe's Sistah for the texture that helped me put this one together.  This does not indicate that I am spacey....BTW.

Sweet Ride

Weather:  Sunny days=convertible weather for the hearty who can handle the cool air.
1960's Corvair in minty mint condition.  Nice.

Spring Commuter

Motion:  A bit too slow for really good motion shot, but both bicycle and car were in motion.

Violet 241/365

Sweet:  These flowers are a sweet sign in early spring.  That light in the background is pretty sweet too.  Just what I like.

Onward.  Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
Oh, and as a side note, I'm about 2/3 the way through my 365....didn't miss a day yet.  Yay me.

Yay, You! is right. I LOVE the sweet violets in that sweet light. But then I would, wouldn't I? I hope when your 20-day stretch is over, you get extra days off. You deserve them!

Good Job on the Speedy Scavenger Hunt, Susan!

The B&W is a perfect edit. The sweet ride sounds like a fun time. Restored cars are so neat to look at.

You touched my soft side with the purple flowers ... my favorite!

The b & w and the background shots are my favorites. Lovely.

Yay you, Susan. 2/3 of 365 is more math than I can handle, but it's sure to be a goodish sort of number.
The first shot scares me (horrible fear of heights) and I love the big ol' convertible (my age is showing) but my favorite is the cyclist with a tree in his backpack. How cool is that?
Aha, found my calculator: 243.333. What might be called an odd number, but still a goodly number of posts without missing a one.

Sweet ride indeed. The "Spotted/Dots" post processing is really nice. I do need to spend more time in PhotoShop...yes I do.

20 days - icky. I had to go into work today too (long story but very unexpected!). Love the lighting on that little flower!

I was totally seeing the 'sweet ride' for sweet - not that the flowers don't work. And very good shot of the commuters - clearly in motion, that or the biker has killer balance.

You.Spacy. ... Never!

Hope a relaxing day off is in the deck for you real soon.

Susan, all of these are wonderful, but the photograph of the violets is pure magic. Beautifully captured!

Another amazing selfie, you rock! I'm fascinated by the line in your first photo, random from the rocks, diagonals from the stairs, and straight from the dock. :-)

Susan - as always, I enjoy coming here on Sundays and seeing how you creatively interpret the weekly scavenger prompts. As always, I was not disappointed. Love the vertigo-inducing "Low Tide" - the BW treatment works so well with the lines and textures in this image. "Universe" is extremely creative - your wonderful collage work in play. Absolutely love the golden light of shining on the violets and your trademark "down-low" perspective.

Oh wow, the sense of perspective in that first shot is fantastic!

Love your perspective on that first shot...and if that biker guy isn't in motion then he has darn good balancing skills.

Your artsy/creative side is showing this week in your spots shot. Very creative! Your first shot shows what a good "eye" you have for spotting those perfect photo ops. When I walk around town now I look at things and think "How would Sue See this?".

Great set! I love those little violets!

I think that first photo is just fantastic. The way the ramp leads your eyes down to the little rowboat is just great. They are all great shots!

Ack, who stuck you with a 20-day working stretch?! I'd be unionizing, I would. I'll even fly out and help you picket your exploitative employer (hi, Dad!) ;-)

That first photo makes me a bit dizzy! There are a lot of textures and lines in that photo, you got your money's worth with that shot.

And look at you, bein' all One with the Universe! :-) Very cool effect!

Wonderful Corvair, and ya gotta love a bike commute! (At first I thought the guy was transporting a shrub in his backpack, and then I realized it's a tree in the background! You probably couldn't have planned and executed that shot any better if you'd tried! LOL)

The sweet violates are so beautiful with the sunlight shining through their petals. Like you, I adore the purple flowers of spring best!

Good for you on your 365! I'm not doing as well on mine, but that is okay, according to me.

That mysterious universe image is very very cool. Seriously.

More brilliant shots! I really love the top one.
