I really admire people who garden - my thumb is whatever the complete opposite is of green. I like the sense of working together that you have captured.
Great snapshot of their working!
Oh, back breaking work. No thank you. Grandson Jacob got a small taste of the work firsthand when we took him to pick strawberries. He was impressed. Hope things are good with you and your buddies.
I'm sweating just thinking about it.
This is exactly why I don't garden! Can't take the heat and the midday sun! Great capture!
I agree with the others. I've always liked the expression "mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun" but perhaps it extends to New Englanders as well?If we don't have rain overnight, I'm going to have to go out with the sprinkler tomorrow before it gets too hot. My husband and the dog go for their walks in the mornings now, and have actually come home with sunrise photos. I must get some of those onto my blog.K
I don't mind spending time in the garden, although I don't have much stamina. I think that I'd probably be taking a break in the hot mid day sun. Justine mentioned that you were doing a 365 in black & white. I feel a bit intimidated by the idea of a photo a day for a whole year- but I might just join you for September. Maybe.
