Sans Silver

Linking up with Kathy at "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out" for songography where this week the song is Silver Bells.

Here's how many silver bells I saw out and about this week:  zero.  Didn't see any children laughing either.  Kinda didn't see any children at all come to think of it.  So stretch with me here.

Actually it was kind of a lengthy text.  She could be people passing and if you want to cut me a break, those decorations have gold-so....you know.  Oh and city sidewalks I got that in the teeny tiny mill town.  This is the only street with any businesses on it.  Like 4 businesses.  Like you don't have to look to cross the street.  Wicked good breakfast place though.

Here's a shot from a couple weeks ago.  I'm gonna stretch and say those branches are coated with silver icy stuff.

Merry, merry to all those who merry, merry it up this time of year.

No need to stretch the imagination AT ALL. I love viewing Christmas thru your eyes in your town. That shot of "Hi" just makes me smile. I want that bow tie! haha. Thank you for joining in on Song-ography. I wish you a very joyous holiday season and a wicked breakfast at that place in town.

such, warm festive images!! no need to be "cookie cutter perfect" when it comes to the song, this interpretation was great!!

i saw lots of children smiling at the merry-go-round and never photographed them, too busy taking pictures of us!! i remembered in the car, on the way home ;)

merry christmas, i hope you have a wonderful holiday!!

You know we are easy - we'll accept whatever you throw at us - and say, "yup, that does indeed fit in with those song lyrics" - assuming we can remember the lyrics. And I will spend the rest of the day humming "Silver Bells", thank you very much! LOVE "Blue" - what simply gorgeous light, highlighting that icy coating. The blue toning works beautifully to enhance that wintry feeling.

lyrics - what lyrics?; I mostly hum this tune after the "silver bells, it's Christmas time in the city" yadda yadda yadda. So heck yea, I'll stretch. Adore the glitter glasses and antlers and the blue-hue silvery frost/ice.
